Saw Mi Ami perform no fewer than three times this week (Richmond, Baltimore, and DC). They're old time associates and friends of friends, I'm not just a crazy fan. Or maybe I am, a little bit. Each show really blew me away, even the Richmond one, which was attended only by thoroughly inked biker guys who were definitely not jamming Watersports on their Electra-Glide's stereo.

A Japanese grocery store just opened up around the corner from my house. Well, I guess it's been there a few months, but I only noticed it recently. Now that I know, however, I've developed a terrible mochi habit--both the ice cream and the bean paste stuff--and crave it during every waking moment.

Also becoming a problem, green tea ice cream. As it is tea flavored, it's easy to pretend that it's somehow healthier than Ben & Jerry's. This is, however, not the case.
